Hello. My name is Christy. We just received word from Tiffany at Camp Edwards that your foundation is kindly and generously paying for our buses to get our sixth graders to camp in March! I teach at a very at-risk building where many, many families don't have the money to pay for camp or take their families on outings such as camp. Many are working so hard (2,3 jobs) that they unfortunately don't even see their children. So, that being said, you are doing a really amazing thing.

I went as a teacher for the first time with my students last year and they (and I) loved it! What an amazing, educational, memorable, terrific experience. And Camp Edwards is a great place to have this experience.

So, thank you so very much. Our students are grateful to you and excited about their upcoming trip. They know how this foundation began. They are saddened by the loss of Tom but have learned that great things and a lot of endless giving can come from such a tragic loss.

Just wanted to thank you for a great fishing outing last Saturday. It was the second time attending for my 5 1/2 year old son, who loves to fish, but rarely gets the chance. It was great to see all the volunteers work so well together. Clearly alot of behind the scenes planning goes into making this such a successful and memorable event.

Much appreciated,
Carol (and Kevin) G.

Thank you for a fantastic day.  The kids really enjoyed this.  I thought I would also share a story.  On Saturday my kids, Tess (5) and Gavin (6), came prepared to fish with their own poles at Sgt. Tommy's event.  However, they also received additional poles courtesy of Sgt. Tommy.  Later on Saturday we were at Crystal lake Beach enjoying the sunshine and fishing later in the afternoon while celebrating Father's Day with the kids Grandfather.  My son Gavin came with his pole as well as Sgt Tommy's.  A little boy, Danny, was also at the beach with his Grandmother.  His Grandmother asked where we got the fishing poles and I proceeded to tell her of the event earlier that morning.  I told my son that Sgt. Tommy would like it if he passed along his pole to another kid that hadn't fished before.  My son gave Danny the pole and a tin of worms and proceeded to show him how to fish.  Needless to say they both caught fish and Danny had a great time.  What a great concept.  Sgt. Tommy would be proud.  See you again next year.

Thanks again,

Marc P.
