You don't have to wait on us to enjoy the outdoors! Below are some of the Chicagoland Park Districts and Forest Preserves that we have worked with.

Whether you are looking for events, classes, or just fun activities to do outdoors - they all offer an array of different outdoor experiences for the whole family!

Backyard ideas

If you were unable to attend our fishing day, below are some of the crafts that children were making during the event! Be sure to make some of the fun nature themed crafts at home!

What You Will Need:

• A red paper plate
• Black Construction Paper
• Straws or Pipe Cleaners
• Googly Eyes
• Glue

Instructions:

1. With the construction paper, cut one long black line, a large oval (~ 3-4" long), and multiple black dots
2. Glue the line in the center of the plate, and dots on either side.
3. Fold the oval in half, and glue the antenna (pipe cleaner or straw) in-between. You may want to add a strip of tape as well! 
4. Glue the eyes onto the head, and glue the head onto the plate.
5. Feel free to experiment with different colors!
